Bisto
Bisto is (presumably) the house steward of a Brixton household of West Indian Borribles. Protective of their territory, he and the other Bumpers initially make life hard for the adventurers. However, eventually he and his household help them in the Great Raft Run. Talking with a thick Jamaica accent, he finds everything just a little bit too amusing for comfort.
Arfinch
Arfinch is a female Bumper who helps the adventurers by sending them to Stovepipe. A big girl with a ready laugh and a flat face, she is one of their closest friends among her tribe.
Stovepipe
Stovepipe ran away from the family of a telecommunications magnate, but retained a penchant for gadgetry. He serves as an early warning system for the Bumpers, using various bits of stolen tech cobbled together to spy on the police.
